Rather than confine his practice, his clients benefit from his representation of both plaintiffs and defendants in civil cases. Mark has also served as general counsel for charter schools and represents public schools across Ohio. He regularly advises clients on employment-related matters to help them avoid costly litigation. As Mark’s background shows, he knows how to handle his clients’ needs.
Since joining Isaac Brant, Mark has emerged as one of Ohio’s leading experts in public records and public meetings law. He speaks with clients across Ohio regarding compliance with public records law and how to avoid litigation. In July 2009, Mark began publishing the monthly Public Records Press to help his clients avoid costly litigation.
Mark keeps himself apprised of technology changes in the legal field, which is very important to the legal needs of all kinds of clients in today’s world. As technology drives our lives, Mark knows that it can have drastic affects on litigation, especially without an understanding of technology’s role in the legal world.
Before coming to Isaac Brant, Mark served as an Ohio Assistant Attorney General handling all aspects of litigation for the largest state agency, including civil trial and administrative appeals. Mark’s wife, Rachel, is also an attorney in Columbus. He enjoys spending his spare time with his pre-school aged twins.
