Danielle M. Skestos was admitted to the practice of law in Ohio in 1999. She concentrates her practice in adoption law, which involves representing prospective adoptive parents and birth parents in private attorney adoptions, step-parent/relative adoptions and private agency adoptions, as well as, domestic relations law, which involves representing clients in divorces, dissolutions, child custody and support matters. Danielle successfully argued before the Ohio Tenth District Court of Appeals within eight months of being licensed to practice law. Danielle has been recognized as a Rising Star by Ohio Super Lawyers for six years.

Danielle has a passion for children which transcends her professional focus in the legal system, as evidenced by her volunteer and after-hours work in the community and in her church. Outside the practice of law, Danielle enjoys photography, traveling and spending time with her family and friends.


Danielle earned her bachelor's degree from Miami University (B.A., 1996) and her law degree from Capital University (J.D., cum caude, 1999). During law school, Danielle was a member of Law Review.
