Charles E. Brant, a founder of Isaac, Brant, Ledman & Teetor and our senior litigation partner, has tried over one hundred cases in his over thirty-five years as a trial and appellate attorney.
Chuck is the author of several popular "how to" articles which have appeared in the Ohio State Law Journal and Ohio Lawyer, including "A Practitioner's Guide to Comparative Negligence in Ohio" and "Slip, Trip and Fall."
Chuck earned his bachelor's degree from The University of Dayton and law degrees from both The Ohio State University and Northwestern University. While at Northwestern, Chuck was a Ford Foundation Fellow.
For the past twenty years, Chuck has been featured in Who's Who in American Law. He also has served on the Ohio State Bar Negligence Law Committee and was instrumental in formulating the state's comparative negligence and product liability law statutes.
Formerly a colonel with the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General's Corps, where he earned the Legion of Merit, Chuck is currently active in developing outdoor programs and camping experiences for the Boy Scouts of America. He is an Eagle Scout and holder of the Silver Beaver Award.
